CCNA-Cisco Certified Network Associate (not NZQA qualification)

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Course Aims The Cisco CCNA curriculum is designed for students who are seeking entry-level information and communication technology (ICT) skills. CCNA provides an integrated and comprehensive coverage of networking topics, from fundamentals to advanced applications and services, while providing opportunities for hands-on practical experience and soft-skills development.

Entry Requirements:

CCNA is designed for students with basic computer skills, problem solving and analytical skills, such as students pursuing degrees in engineering, information technology, math, or science. Also Professionals who are working in the ICT industry as a Network second level support or third level support.

Course Outcomes

This curriculum provides students with the skills needed to succeed in networking-related jobs and helps them prepare for CCNA certification. It also helps students and IT professionals develop the skills necessary to fulfil the job responsibilities of network technicians, network administrators, and network engineers. It provides a theoretically-rich, hands-on introduction to networking and the Internet.

Course Contents:

CCNA Programme consists of four Modules: Network Fundamentals, Routing Protocols and Concepts, LAN Switching and Wireless, and Accessing the WAN.

Target Certifications:

After completing all four courses of CCNA, students will be prepared to take the Cisco CCNA certification exam (640-802).

Course Duration:

Course offered in two different tracks:

Standard Track: 4 Hrs/DAY - 3 Days/Week = 16 Week Training

Fast Track: 4 Hrs/DAY - 5 Days/Week = 8 Week Training
