Diploma – Level 5

Diploma in Healthcare Studies (Level 5) prepares students to deliver professional healthcare to patients in an aged care, disability or community setting – and in accordance with Tikanga Maori principles.

New Zealand Diploma – Level 5

New Zealand Diploma in Healthcare, Aging and Disability Services (Applied Practice) equip the learners with the knowledge and skills to enter the health and wellbeing sector across a range of disciplines to support people from diverse contexts and achieve their health and wellbeing aspirations.

Diploma – Level 6

The Level 6 Programme is a natural progression from Level 5 and enhances and builds on the knowledge students have gained in the preceding study year.

Diploma – Level 6

Diploma in Mental Health and Addiction (Applied Practice) (Level 6) equip the learner with values and attitudes that support the consumer voice and the role of family and whānau. Graduates of this programme, will be able to undertake assessment, provide effective communication and introduce required interventions for people with addiction and mental health issues.

Diploma – Level 7

The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa / New Zealand with graduates who have attained sufficient skills to work in management roles in the health services industry .

English Language Support

AGI’s Step- up Programme builds your English language skills and prepares you to get the most out of your Programme. As part of your Diploma programme, you will have to attend lectures, write assignments and prepare for assessments and exams.

These tasks can be demanding and if English is not your first language, the challenge is greater.
